Hi all,

I'm a big fan of word games and have a few on CD-ROM but you have to have the CD-ROM near at hand to play them as they don't stay installed on the hard drive. I know of an accessible game of Boggle that you can download, and apparently on www.l-works.net there is a download available that you can pay for if you like the demo, but when i tried to download the demo it said the setup file was corrupted and to find another setup file.

Does anyone else know of any accessible word games that are available, either to play online or to download to the PC? It'd be ideal if they were free, but I'm willing to accept cheap fee-paid ones too.

Thanks for the ideas.

Do you live in the UK? If you do, you can buy a cd from RNIB that's got 4 or 6 word games on it and you just play from the cd ROM. It costs about #40, though. You can also play an online game called freerice. Each word you get right, you donate 20 grains of rice. I think someone else has mentioned it on the boards somewhere else.
